SKH Dance welcomes you to an online open lecture with Thomas Talawa Prestø, the Artistic Director at Tabanka Dance Ensemble.
This is a lecture-demonstration that deals with decolonizing dance technique and gives insight into polycentric and polyrhythmic practice. These are practices that have not been successfully notated by western music and movement notation.
Thomas Talawa Prestø seeks to demystify, exemplify and reconnect for dance practitioners, scholars, amateurs and lovers of dance alike.
